The
Place
“Ganz
nah, weit weg”. With this slogan the Resort Land Fleesensee in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
advertises the concept to holidaymakers in year 2000. In Germany and in Europe. And, in fact: the message comes
through!
The
largest spare-time and holiday resort in North-Europe is booked
well throughout the year. The resort has a high rate of bookings
because the holiday resort is situated between Berlin and Hamburg,
in the enchanting landscape of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with its richness
of lakes, and here a resort with many superlatives was founded a
couple of years ago.
On
an area of 500 ha maximum 2000 guests can find accommodation in
four dufferent hotels: Dorfhotel, Robinson Club, Radisson
BLU Resort Schloss Fleenseensee and Iberotel Fleesensee. Further, the Fleesensee Spa exclusive
fulfil all wellness-dreams.
The
resort is surrounded by the largest Golf-establishment in Germany.
The Golf & Country Club offers three 18-hole courses as well
as two 9-hole short courses, an extensive training centre with a
Golf-Arena and the largest driving range in Europe. Land Fleesensee
has thus established themselves as one of the best golf foundations
in Germany.
The
Scandinavian Golf Club has in this extraordinary golf surroundings
their own golf course: the Scandinavian Course. This course is described
further below together with the other golf courses in the golf-paradise
of Land Fleesensee.
The
Scandinavian Course
Length:
6252/5224 metres Par: 72 Slope: 120
SR Value: 70,8 HCP-recommendation: 54
The golf area in Land Fleesensee is situated between the lakes of
Mecklenburg and reflects the hilly typography of the surroundings.
In
autumn 2000 the Scandinavian Golf Course hosted the European Senior
Tour. The Scottish man Ross McMurray designed the Championship-course.
The golfplayer will recognise many typical characteristics from
Links courses.
There
are scattered trees, many bunkers and the fairways are situated
far from each other, which give the open landscape long views. This
place could thus as well be in Scandinavia or in the Highlands.
It is only the large, fast greens and the detached waterhazards
that reveal the modern influences from American design.
The
Schloss Course
Length:
6335/5335 metres Par: 72 Slope: 138
CR Value: 73,1 HCP recommendation: 36
The most demanding golfcourse, the Schloss Course, is characterised
by modern space-architecture - a symbiosis between nature and design.
The
architect Stan Eby has accomplished to give all holes on the course
their own character. The golf pleasure is supplemented by the prominent
maintenance of the course, and is guaranteed by the highly motivated
green keeping-team.
axel lange Generali Course

you can hit and play as if you were Tiger Woods or Bernard Langer.
The
Coca Cola Family Course is situated south of the golfarea and
offers with its par 3 holes the ideal start and lots of fun for
the whole family. The Coca Cola Course has a few more
